Reaching communities through safe spaces

Local leaders are invited to learn about the safe space concept to decide if this concept is suitable for their communities
- Establishment of safe spaces
Locally, communities decide about a suitable place for the safe space for girls and young women to meet
- Designation of a peer-mentor
A peer mentor is present during meetings to keep an open ear about the conversations and provide advice
- Emergency Response
With the peer mentors reporting back to Set Her Free, enables to identify and intervene in cases of an emergency for instance due to abuse and violence at home or from a perpetrator
